Giavasis Design Practice is a studio for architecture and civil engineering in the island of Kalymnos. The practice was originally founded in 1936 in Athens by senior Theodoros Giavasis. The scope of the office was mainly the design and field work of multi-storey buildings. The firm moved to Kalymnos in 1948 entering the field of public work. It was assigned a lot of infrastructure projects throughout Dodekanisa, including public buildings in Rhodes and Kos.

The office started focusing on private buildings when Michael Giavasis joined it in 1975. Since its inception Giavasis Studio has designed over 5000 building, in Kalymnos and the neighbouring islands of Kos, Leros, Patmos, Lipsi and Astypalaia.

The studio has established a reputation in Kalymnos for the integrated building design having accomplished projects for houses, churches, hotels and industrial buildings. Having reached an expertise on building design, the practice offers state-of-the-art structures, exquisite architecture and unprecedented quality.
